What we work on

Six practical modules

Each module starts from a real artefact and ends with you producing one. No slides-only theory.

01

Reading a control and its evidence

Take one Annex A control from ISO 27001 and trace it from policy to the evidence an auditor will ask for.

02

Writing Statement of Applicability entries

Justify inclusion and exclusion for a set of controls in language an auditor will accept.

03

Building a risk register that holds up

Identify, score and treat risks for a sample process, with owners, due dates and approval steps.

04

Running an internal audit

Plan a sample, record observations, grade findings and write a corrective action plan that closes.

05

Mapping DPDP data flows

Pick one business process, list the personal data it touches, and draft the notice and consent points it needs.

06

NIST CSF 2.0 in practice

Map a sample environment to the six CSF functions, find the gaps, and prioritise the first three actions.

What you take away

Working templates you can reuse on the job

Templates

  • Control to evidence tracker
  • SOA justification sheet
  • Risk register with scoring and treatment
  • Internal audit checklist and finding log

Practice habits

  • Write evidence references the day you collect them
  • Keep one version of every register and record each change
  • Phrase findings as facts with a clause reference
